St. Alphonsus Families!
PSA would like to say a big THANK YOU to everyone who supported our school during the
Fun Run. Thanks to you, we not only met our goal of raising $5,000, but we exceeded it. Our portion of the pledged amount is almost $7,000. Based on this amount, Boosterthon will donate 21 meals to a local food pantry to help families in need. We couldn’t have done it without you!
We hope that everyone had fun. We wanted to highlight some of the prizes that all of our
students earned during the pledge. We had freeze pops, crazy hat or sports cap day, dance party, bonus recess and munchkins (or allergy approved treat).
On Friday, June 2nd, we will have a dress down day.
Our grand prize for the school for reaching $5,000 was a movie and ice cream treat (or gluten free dairy free Trader Joe’s marshmallow treat).

In addition to running the event, Boosterthon provided prizes to students based on the level of pledges received. As you know, PSA had additional prizes for the top three students with the most pledges. We would like to recognize

What will we do with the money raised? As soon as the pledges are collected, we will place an order for the bottle filling water fountains. Once our parking lot is resurfaced, we will paint hop scotch, four square and basketball free throw lines as well as make other small improvements to our recess areas. The remaining amount will be earmarked toward the purchase of new text books in the upcoming year.
